Two IV bags, one amber and one yellow, hang together from an IV pole in a sunny room

What Goes Into the Reset

The Reset has more in it than any other drip on our menu. Here's the full list.

The Thinking Behind the Bag

Alcohol makes your kidneys let go of more water than usual. The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) says the mild dehydration that follows likely adds to next-day thirst and headaches.

Alcohol also irritates the lining of your stomach, and that can bring on nausea.

That's why the Reset is built the way it is. The fluids support hydration, and the two medications are there for the nausea and the aches.

Here's the honest part. NIAAA also says the only thing that truly ends a hangover is time. The Reset won't change that. It gives your body fluids and vitamins while the hours pass.

Pick the Reset When You Book

Before your first drip, a licensed provider reviews your health history on a short video visit and approves what you'll get. Here's how that visit works.

Because the Reset carries an NSAID, the provider asks about pregnancy, blood thinners, kidney problems, stomach ulcers or bleeding, and any NSAID allergy before saying yes.

So the Reset has to be on your booking from the start. Say you book a different drip and change your mind at the door. Your nurse can't make the switch until the provider approves it.

You'll also need a photo ID showing you're 18 or older.

Austin Mornings That Call for It

After Sixth Street

A late night downtown and an early checkout. Book from your hotel room and let the drip come to you.

Rainey Street

Rainey's old bungalows turned bars sit at the southeast corner of downtown, near Lady Bird Lake. Staying nearby? Book a drip at your rental for the next morning.

A Day on Lake Travis

Devil's Cove, on the lake's north shore, is a party cove where boats raft up together. Your drip happens back at the rental, on dry land.

Between ACL Weekends

ACL fills Zilker Park for two weekends in early October, with a few workdays in between. Plan your festival week.

Before a Flight Out of AUS

Get your drip at the hotel or rental in the morning, then head to the airport.

Game-Day Weekends

In town for a Longhorns home game? Our game-day page covers the whole weekend.

We go to homes, hotel rooms, short-term rentals and offices all over central Austin. See where our nurses go.

What the Reset Costs

The Hangover Reset is $375 per person. That includes your registered nurse, all the supplies, and travel within 15 miles of downtown Austin.

A few extras can apply: $50 when a visit starts after 10 PM and $75 for setting up five or more drips at one address. They're all on the menu, along with the $26.99 video visit before your first drip.

It's self-pay, and we don't bill insurance.

Hangover Reset Questions

Will the Hangover Reset make my hangover go away?

No drip can promise that, and we won't. The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism says time is the only thing that ends a hangover. The Reset supports hydration and brings medicine for the nausea and the aches while that time passes.

Can I switch to the Reset once my nurse is here?

Only after the provider approves the change, because the Reset includes an NSAID pain reliever and an anti-nausea medication. Choosing it at booking lets the provider screen for both on your video visit, so nobody waits at the door.

Can a nurse come out to our boat on Lake Travis?

No. We don't start IVs on boats. Book the drip for your rental or hotel once everyone is back on land, and check the service area for lake addresses.

Can everyone in our rental get a Reset?

Yes, as long as the provider approves each person. Every guest does their own video visit and picks their own drip. Five or more drips at one address is a group booking, and our group page walks through it.

Stay In. We'll Come to You.

Choose the Hangover Reset when you book, so the provider can screen for it on your video visit. We're open every day from 8 AM to 10 PM.
